Our Story
Loft Insulation Leeds was founded with a simple goal: to provide homeowners across Leeds and West Yorkshire with honest, professional insulation services at fair prices. We recognised that many people were unsure about their insulation options, confused by conflicting advice, and wary of firms making exaggerated claims about energy savings. We wanted to do things differently.
From the beginning, we have built our business on straightforward advice, quality workmanship and transparent pricing. We tell our customers what we genuinely believe is the right solution for their property, not what makes us the most money. If a particular product or approach is not suitable for your home, we will say so. If a simpler, less expensive option will do the job just as well, we will recommend it.
Over the years, we have grown steadily through word-of-mouth recommendations from satisfied customers. We are proud that so much of our work comes from referrals — it tells us that our approach of putting the customer first is the right one.
Our Values
- Honesty: We provide straightforward, accurate advice. We do not exaggerate the benefits of any product or make claims we cannot substantiate. If something will not work for your property, we tell you.
- Quality: We use reputable materials from established manufacturers and take care with every installation. We do not cut corners, and we do not rush jobs to squeeze in extra work.
- Fairness: Our pricing is transparent and competitive. We provide detailed, written quotations with no hidden charges, and we never use high-pressure sales tactics.
- Respect: We treat your home as we would treat our own. We protect floors and furnishings, keep our work areas clean and tidy, and leave your property in the same condition we found it — except, of course, with better insulation.
- Reliability: We turn up when we say we will, we do what we say we will do, and we finish when we say we will finish. If anything changes, we communicate promptly and clearly.
Experience and Expertise
Our team brings years of practical experience in all aspects of loft and home insulation. We have worked on hundreds of properties across Leeds, from Victorian terraces in Headingley to modern estates in Garforth, from stone-built cottages in Otley to semi-detached homes in Morley. This breadth of experience means we understand the specific challenges that different property types present.
We are experienced in installing a wide range of insulation materials, including traditional mineral wool and glass fibre, foil-based products such as SuperFOIL, reflective insulation and multifoil insulation, as well as natural materials like sheep's wool. We also install loft ladders, loft boarding and complete loft makeover packages.
We keep our knowledge up to date with changes in building regulations, new products and evolving best practices. We attend manufacturer training when new products are introduced and stay informed about developments in insulation technology and standards.

Quality is not just a word we use in our marketing — it is embedded in everything we do. From the initial survey, where we take the time to understand your property and your needs properly, through to the final handover, where we walk you through the completed work and ensure you are completely satisfied, quality drives our decisions.
We use only materials that we trust and have experience with. We do not chase the cheapest products on the market, and we do not experiment with untested materials in our customers' homes. Every product we use has proven performance and comes from a reputable manufacturer.
